Much the same way that Locey & Cahill has guided our clients through the complicated process of collecting RDS subsidy reimbursements, we also use our broad knowledge of the ACA to assist our clients and minimize any added cost associated with health care reform.

Health Insurance Consulting

We support our clients through all aspects of successfully managing their health insurance programs including but not limited to, benefit plan design, budget and rate development, assistance with the CMS-RDS Program, request for proposal processes and labor relations.

We also provide a suite of well-rounded general consulting services, all designed to ensure our clients are operating the most thoughtful and efficient benefit plans, including but not limited to:

Workers’ Compensation Consulting

As with our health insurance consulting services, we partner with our clients in the management and oversight of their workers’ compensation plan. We work diligently to ensure that our clients’ plans are not only in compliance with the workers’ compensation laws of New York State, but also that they are operating in a financially responsible and effective manner. Quality Assurance Audits & Analysis

As with our consulting services, the audit division of Locey & Cahill is best in class namely in our work uncovering claims adjudication and management issues through a complex and proprietary auditing tool. It is our practice to review random claim samples, targeted claim samples, and large loss cases to ensure all are being handled appropriately. Our focus is making the claims adjudication process increasingly more efficient while also keenly focused on immediate recoveries. Quality assurance audits and analysis services include but are not limited to:

  • Health insurance and workers’ compensation quality assurance audits that are customized to provide clients with a complete and thorough evaluation of the effectiveness of their claims administrator or insurance company.
Medicare Part D

Medicare Part D subsidy program services designed on a client specific basis to meet the needs of that particular client. The services of Locey & Cahill can be beneficial to all types of employers. We have customized our service contracts to allow for the flexibility needed to provide professional consulting services to groups ranging in size from less than one hundred to groups of tens of thousands.
